Made to be worn (2023) - Winner of the 2023 Best in Show award at the Brandstater Gallery
During my first year of college, I couldn’t help but notice a campus-wide trend among friends and strangers alike—the unmistakable Air Force 1s. This comfortable, iconic shoe seemed to be everywhere, yet each pair told its own story. From pristine, crease-free pairs to well-worn ones layered in dirt and memories (like my roommate’s), each shoe seemed to capture a unique personality and history. This poster series captures that diversity, using Lightroom, Photoshop, and Illustrator to celebrate the Air Force 1’s place in campus life—featuring some of my favorite people’s real life shoes!

Inspired by the bold, bright colors of 70s Broncos, this piece captures the spirit of a classic beach vehicle, full of personality and nostalgia. It’s a tribute to the timeless style and carefree energy that makes the Bronco an icon on and off the sand.
